Founder & CEO Conrad Hurdle
building equitable environments
Established in Portland, Oregon in 2018 FC Hurdle Consulting, LLC was my creation after 15 years serving as a school principal. I decided to make a significant change and took a leap of faith to begin this firm. As a consultant, I have experience engaging diverse stakeholders, collecting data, and telling a compelling story for change. Whether it is the City of Portland and Multnomah County, National Association Minority Contractors-Oregon, Oregon Public Utilities Commission (pages 6-21), or School District/Multnomah Educational Service District our firm strategizes with you to find the right solutions to address your business needs.
Each day I continue to lean into every moment of this amazing journey. The beloved support of my wife, Rebecca, and a network of professionals I call my business circle drives the firm to reach new heights and advance opportunities for our partners. During my downtime, I look forward to fishing on the Snake River and spending quality time with family and friends.

Jonathan knows marketing complements everything. As simple as a smile, or as complex as a 12 year strategic plan, the goal of marketing is to make something better. As Founder & CEO of “better.”, a creative anti-agency based in Portland Oregon built on making the world better for people of color. By supporting, developing, and sustaining businesses of color, we proactively shift narratives, access, and opportunities to our communities.
I’ve delivered technical solutions to customers in private industries and public and nonprofit organizations. My major accomplishments include business process automation using data for which I received an IBM Eminence and Excellence Award. Most recently, I’ve worked to deliver a staff scheduling application and performance dashboard to meet national 911 call answering standards for local government.
